Histoleve® Nasal Spray

Histoleve® Nasal Spray provides effective non-drowsy treatment and prevention of hayfever and allergies, relieving sneezing, a runny, itchy or blocked nose, and sinus pain and congestion.

Histoleve® Nasal Spray is indicated for the prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis including hay fever and that caused by other airborne allergens such as house dust mite, mould spores and animal dander.

During treatment, Histoleve® provides symptomatic relief of sneezing, itchy and runny nose, and congestion, including associated sinus discomfort and pressure around the nose and eyes.

Histoleve® also provides relief of ocular symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.

Active ingredients

Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms per spray (0.5 mg/g)

Dosage

Shake the bottle before use. Discard first 6 sprays for the first use, and discard 2 sprays after 5 days or more of discontinued use.

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily. Dose should be reduced for maintenance treatment once full effect is obtained.

Warnings

Do not use in children under 12 years old.

Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms/condition persist(s) for more than 7 days, or if you develop signs/symptoms of nasal infection such as fever, facial pain or swelling, or discoloured nasal discharge. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you: – Intend to use for more than 6 months or with another steroid product; e.g. tablets, asthma or nasal inhaler – Have a nasal or sinus infection, recent injury or surgery to your nose, ulceration in your nose, nose bleeds, eye pain or visual disturbances. Contains benzalkonium chloride and phenylethyl alcohol as preservatives.

Do not freeze. Discard after three months of opening.
