Active ingredients
125mg paracetamol
Dosage
Children 2-6 years (12-20kg): 1-2 suppositories inserted in the rectum up to 4 times in 24 hours.
Maximum 8 suppositories a day.
Children 1-2 years (10-12kg): 1 suppository inserted in the rectum up to 4 times in 24 hours.
Maximum 4 suppositories per day.
Adults and children over 6 years: A higher strength of Gacet Paracetamol Suppositories are recommended.
Warnings
Do not take with other products containing paracetamol, unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist.
If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Pharmacy Medicine Keep out of reach of children.
Use strictly as directed.
Prolonged or excessive use can be harmful.
Do not use for more than 48 hours except on doctor’s advice.
Do not take orally.
