R&D: at the heart of AFT
Innovation in pharmaceuticals can take two forms: developing and licensing new drugs and devices, and taking an existing product and making it better. We do both. Research and development allows us to make the very best products in the areas in which we specialise, and then take them global.
R&D is how we’ve produced new products like Maxigesic® and the Maxiclear® range which have been licensed all around the world, despite pain-relief and allergy treatment being among the most competitive pharmaceutical categories internationally. It’s also how we’ve improved on numerous existing treatments, to make them more effective and more accessible.
